In 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Shooting competitions are scheduled to take place from 6th august to 14 August at the National Shooting Center in Deodoro. The event format is similar in 2012 with some drastic changes to the rules and guidelines of the competition. There are three type of shooting: Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun. Both men's and women'd are competing in this event.

The archery events at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro will be held over a seven-day period from 6 to 12 August. Four events will take place, all being staged at the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí. A total of 128 athletes will compete across the four events: the men's individual, women's individual, men's team and women's team. All four events are recurve archery events, held under the World Archery-approved 70-meter distance and rules. The competition will start with an initial ranking round involving all 64 archers of each gender. Each archer will shoot a total of 72 arrows to be seeded from 1–64 according to their score.
The women's epee competition in Fencing make his debut in 2012 London Olympics Games. Yana Shemyakina from Ukraine won the gold medal. After the second semi final Shin A-Lam delayed the competition in protest against a decision by the referee. In Rio Olympics first match was held on 6 august 2016 at 5:30 pm.
