Olympics Rio 2016 TV Telecast Channels / Broadcasting Rights

A number of broadcasters throughout the world broadcast the The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The Rio Olympics Games 2016 will be telecast on eight channels in India, For the first time ever. To give a 24x7 coverage of the games Star Sports, the sports broadcast arm of Star India, will be using all its eight sports channels in which four standard definition and four high definition. Star Sports 1 and 4 and the respective HD feeds will have English language telecast and rest of the channels will have Hindi coverage.

ItalySky Italia & RAI (Sky Italia bought to rights for Olympics 2016 in Italy but they will share the live coverage with free-to-air italian national channel RAI)

African CountriesSuperSport (IOC announced they have sold broadcasting rights in around 40 countries in Africa to SuperSport)
